Super Sound Systems (Part 1 - Stone Love)

Welcome to SSS. Its Adrian again. I've decided to change this podcast/blog from its original theme to more modern/retro hardcore dancehall. When I say hardcore dancehall, I mean HARDCORE DANCEHALL. I don’t know if I’m the last legit soundclash fan there is left in the world but I can tell you one thing for sure, I’m not going anywhere. I've been a hardcore dancehall reggae fan since I was 10 years old. I've been following sound clashes all my life -- from the corner clashes at your local bar in the ghettos of JA to the big famous (slightly commercial) sound clashes in New York like World Clash and War 2000. Yes, I too was a huge Mighty Crown fan when they went around smashing everything around like the competition were poor upcoming little sound boys. The days of beating the walls of Amazura down are long gone for me, but the love of hardcore dancehall reggae and sound clashes with be with me forever. I think I will be the only 60-something running around singing Buju's Boom-Bye-Bye with my radio cranked up as loud as it can go ('cause I'm already deaf as fuck) disturbing the fucking nursing home and popping Viagra while singing Bounty's 'Gal Fi get Wuk'. 
All in all, none of that stuff matters. Luck you, I have an extremely large archive of old dancehall tapes, both sound clash and party. I'm gonna put them up in hopes of finding hardcore fans like myself. Leave feedback and let me know how you like them. Hopefully by the end of summer '08 this page will have some of the baddest clashes and dance the world has ever seen and heard - spread the word. I'm gonna start with this Stone Love. It’s one of the first in a series of clashes between Stone Love and Turbo Phonic. The dance started with three sounds, next thing you know it got ugly and it was SL vs. TP for the rest of the night. I think my next upload might be the Turbo Phonic. In the mean time, just check out the Stone Love for now. Nuff Respec -
